About the team

As part of the Retail Team you will play a key role being part of a high-performing retail team and supporting the Store Manager in his/her work. Being the main responsible for the team, the store and its performance in the absence of the Store Manager.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in his/her daily work.
• Acting Store Manager in his/her absence
• Contribute to the store performance and to achieve the set retail and sales targets.
• Contribute with ideas and activities to drive sales to ensure the targets are being met.
• Support in identifying objectives and set priorities to meet short- and long-term goals, delegating responsibilities to the store team where appropriate.
• Support in analysing and following up on the store performance.
• Support in planning and scheduling all store staff ensuring sales and productivity efficiency.
• Observe that all retail policies and procedures are being done as per retail and procedures manual.
• Support in overseeing physical store operations including maintenance to ensure the environment meets health & safety and Company standards
• Ensure store administration is delivered in an accurate and timely manner.
• Support in communicating and reporting back to Area Manager/ Retail Manager the sales and retail KPI’s in time. (on a weekly and a monthly basis).
• Support in training and developing the team ensuring individuals have a clear understanding of the GANT goals and objectives.
• Motivate the team- Act as a role model to never stop learning and inspire the team to develop.
• Contribute to create a high-performance culture by setting clear expectations and targets.
• Contribute to ensuring constant team development through our learning platform, GANT Academy
• Support the visual presentation and merchandising of the Store is consistent with Company standards
